The Competencies a Contract Manager Needs

Contracting Excellence, the publication by IACCM (International Association for Contract & Commercial Management) has just posted an article entitled, The Competencies a Contract Manager Needs: A Process Perspective by Maria Arraiza-Monteux and Rene Franz Henschel. The authors use the IACCM Contract Lifecycle model to “consider the competencies and skills that strengthen the Contract Managers’ ability to make solid contributions to their businesses.” The five phases of the IACCM Contract Lifecycle model are: initiate, bid, development, negotiate, and manage.
