BBC News reports that Lloyd’s List, a shipping newspaper that began in the early 1700s will print its last publication on December 20 and will be available in digital format only. The newspaper first appeared “as a notice pinned to a London coffee shop wall” and provided shipping news and information for customers. Lloyd’s List now provides coverage of offshore energy, logistics, global trade and law and is part of Informa plc.
